Wow! ... That one really hit home for me ... I have a most difficult time allowing people to get too close to me ...

I do know (unfortunately from enduring 33.5 years of abuse) that the ones who are supposed to love and care about you can do the most damage ...

I often feel badly that I cannot let others get that close to me again ... And I often sing that lyric from the Eagles' Desperado about letting somebody love you before it's too late ...

Yeah ... I ponder, fret and worry about my inability to allow this into my life quite often ...
