My post did not accuse you of self diagnosis via an internet quiz. All, I did was state information about the tests and how they are used. I just wanted to include self diagnosis as additional information, since many adults do this and are fine with it. While, some people want a formal diagnosis for: education and/or employment purposes; support services; better self understanding; improving relationships; validation, etc...
You need to read up on Asperger Syndrome (AS). It is possible to have ADD/ADHD with AS. Sometimes, people are misdiagnosed with this condition before they are correctly diagnosed.
Bring the quiz (preferably the AQ) that you did to your appointment. Tell that doctor why you think you have AS and be specific. Get your childhood development history, if you can. AS can be difficult to diagnose, so knowing that history can help determine if you have it or not.
RDOS is an interesting test. I have done it. Unfortunately, it is not accepted as a valid testing instrument.
