I'm sorry Nina. Amanda obviously didn't grow up like you did! What on earth does she have against your bf?? And why would she care who you choose AS your bf? It's none of her business. I know she cares about you but if you love your bf, she should be supportive of you. Unless your bf is beating you, she shouldn't be so ugly about it. IS your bf abusive??
After 15 years of a close friendship, it's hard to believe she'd be like this. This is a real shame as good friends after all those years are very very rare. I wish there was some way you could repair the friendship.
