After 15 years of a close friendship, it's hard to believe she'd be like this. This is a real shame as good friends after all those years are very very rare. I wish there was some way you could repair the friendship.

Thank you for the reply Lee. No, she clearly hasn't grown up! Her immaturity is also one of the reasons we aren't friends anymore. I have no idea what she has against him, she doesn't even know him, really! And no, he is not abusive.
I miss our friendship a lot...I feel lonely sometimes because I was so used to being able to talk to her about anything, and I don't have that kind of friend anymore. Thanks for your encouragement, I'm still feeling pretty low
