Hi Artichack ~ I cannot imagine how it must be in Alaska right now. This may sound funny, but I always watch "Ice Road Truckers" when it comes on, and they're usually in Alaska and it just blows my mind how COLD it gets up there!

I live in Michigan, and while our winters aren't as cold as they used to be, it still gets cold --- but NOTHING like you have to contend with!
And you stay dark much longer, correct? I guess it depends on which part of Alaska you're in. But I can totally understand how you'd be scared about depression hitting you.

I have clinical depression, so I have it all the time and it will never go away til the day I die.

But with medication I do "ok."
Is there anything you'd like to talk about? If there is, feel free to message me, or just post here. It's best to talk it out and get it taken care of before it just "sits there" and festers. Yes, these latest tragedies have been terrible, and are on everyones' minds. But if you have faith in God, you know that those babies are in the hands of God, and are in a better place.

It is still extremely sad -- but we have to have faith.
I wish you the very best. Again, if you feel like talking more, just post or message someone you trust. Take care of yourself and God bless. Hugs, Lee
