I don't think that reading the med's PI sheet is always a bad idea -- in fact, I'm pretty sure it's always a good one. It's usually the internet that can be the best and yet the absolute worst place to look, especially if you're looking for a reason to not take a med.

I don't know, if I were as worried as you are now then perhaps it is worth waiting until the external stresses are over before starting a med. This way you don't have to worry about side effects during a sensitive period and you are also much less likely to confuse symptoms brought on by stress with symptoms brought up by the med. I think it's a shame when someone quits a med because they felt anxious or depressed on the first few days, or even when they feel nauseous during this period.

Yet, if I were you, I am also always anxious to get started on a new med, considering the duration in which it takes for them to begin working.
