Root chakra: Anxiety, identity disturbance, dissociation.
Sacral chakra: Depression, chameleon personality.
Solar Plexus chakra: Manic-depressive behavior, obsessive and compulsive behavior.
Heart chakra: Inability to connect with others, self-destructive behavior.
Throat chakra: Inability to express one's self with words.
Inner-eye chakra: Psychotic behavior.
Crown Chakra: Nightmares, feelings of inadequacy.

There are many other problems as well, but these are the relevant ones to this topic. When your chakras are weak or closed (underactive), the results can be different than if the same ones were overactive. Open is the best state, because it means that particular chakra is balanced.

A chakra can be closed in a number of ways depending on the chakra. Among these are abandonment, physical and emotional abuse, and repressing emotions.

I experience many of the above problems, but according to a test I took, my chakras are very well balanced: All are closed, except for my Sacral chakra, which is merely weak.

With all this in mind, how much of bpd is mental, and how much is caused by blocked energy? My opinion is that the cause is the same, whether you support mental illness or energy imbalance as the truth of bpd. The results are the same.

Thus concludes my energy-based analysis of bpd. Any questions?
I don't personally know much about chakras or energy centers and the like but I don't necessarily discount it being a factor either. We are complex beings and there is so much feeding into our whole being that I think you have to look at it from all angles. I think some issues may stem from things other than mental illness alone and some may be physical health issues and even further some, may be energy related factors and I think it's all a combination of those things along with others.

I think that the problem with us as people, is that so many of us approach it all from a single minded perspective and therefore we never are healed because we only look at one aspect of our whole. What I mean is, one person may believe it's a health related issue as in Physical health, and they go out and pick foods based on nutrition religiously, exercise like mad etc while another thinks it's chemical based and focus on that, trying to fix things solely with psychotropic drugs and therapy. Another may use metaphysics and energy related approaches. None fully find the "cure" so to speak because it's all related and ties into our issues.
