I am doing damage control. I am pissing people off on the threads. Seriously, I don't know what gets into me some times.
First of all, congratulations to your husband! Second of all, I'm packing and making brownies and stuff for a weekend trip and I'm too busy to do much except check in here. Care to PM me a summary? LOL.

I agree with this completely. I've told you, Granite, about seeing notes between my mom and my teacher. I imagine I was a very odd little kid and told "lies" all the time. HOWEVER, that does not change the fact that my parents were abusive and that the REASON I was odd and told stories was because I was never allowed to be around other kids except at school, had no one modeling "normal" behavior, and was fed a constant diet of lies and so had no clue what the truth even was and lived in my head constantly. If you could have seen what a little weirdo I was, would you think or tell my mom is was okay to lock me in rooms or hit me?

And is granite okay with everybody giving her advice?

Boy am I crabby today or what? ? I think I have cramps! Sorry!!
I hope you are okay with it, Granite, because I think (it seems to me) that people on here love you and are just trying to help you see that you should not take responsibility for other people's (the mother's) issues.

Sorry you're not feeling great, Hankster. I find a combo of chocolate and caffeine helps with cramps. [studies have shown it actually does and it's not just my imagination. lol]
