Yes try to work through this situation by not acting like you're interested anymore, but sometimes we have to be careful doing that because the other person feels rejection and may want to get back, so make sure your firm and consistant just so they don't think they can have you anymore! I hope you don't jump right in with this new guy, or at least let him know you don't want a relationship right now. my best years in my life were when i was "free" and making it on my own and doing things on my own terms, it's so hard,i find, to always have to think about someone else in marriage, like i am now. don't get me wrong, i love my husband, but sometimes wish i could get a little more space, especially since i have a son too.
