Therapists are trained professionally on how to teach to deal with our emotions, as well as provide support; there also different kinds of therapies like CBT and DBT which help with the way we think and process stuff. They way I look at our lives is that we have a toolbox; within that we have different tools (medication, CBT, DBT, support groups, etc.) with knowledge of how to use these tools we can maintain a balance in our lives.
Does this make sense??
