I saw the doctor this morning and the results were as I thought... I am positive for both the A1298>heterozyggous and the 677C>heterozygous mutations. The doctor told me to start taking methylfolate at 1mg for two weeks and increase the dose by 1 mg every 2 weeks.
My bloodword showed high homocystiene levels, low iron (anemia) which can result from high heavy metal content, and he also said the rls I suffer from is more than likely a result of the low iron I have had for such a long time. The hashimoto's anitibodie are in full tilt as usual and my serum folate excessive, which proves this theory that my body is not effectively metabolising folic acid.
The best part is that now I have an answer and I just have to begin from the beginning.
Thank you for responding to me, it means so much that someone cares.
