The thing is that there are no many people posting new threads and I need to share with people a lot. Because, I need it and bc I've been living with this disorder for 42 years old.
You are right. We crave for contact and this is the safest kind of contact I know and the most comfortable for me.
Before joining to any AvPD forum, that is, before being diagnosed, I felt as if any social contact I had, made me feel unsatisfied. I wasn't able to stablish a deep contact with anyone. Call me idiot if you want but I think AvPD forum increased my social abilities and at the same time, it has been a way to compensate my urges for socialization.
Hey, I'm an avoidant and as such, I always was a pesimist however I changed a lot with therapy and people's support.
Thanks for your reply.
