Still trying to find a pdoc.

My GP referred me to a place that is, thankfully, only twenty minutes away. I called them, and before they can even schedule me an appointment they needed my medical records, so I spent the day going place after place to have my records faxed to them. I had to go to three places. In particular they wanted my discharge summary from when I was in the hospital in january.

Why is the records office all the way in the bowels of the hospital?! I thought that was funny for some reason. I'm happy I had my husband and daughter with me or I probably wouldn't have been able to find my way out of the basement. Lol.

So, new clinic should be calling me in the next few days. I'm probably just going to call them tomorrow. They should have my records by tomorrow.

This whole situation is just ridiculous.

I need help now, so I'm hoping they can get me in shortly. And not five months from now. I'm about three steps from an IP stay at the moment. I'm suicidal.

Anyone else have to jump through five million hoops before they could get a new pdoc?
