Yeah I've read as much myself. The one hope is what is known as brain plasticity, basically that the brain can adapt to changes over time.

Dylan Moran is a legend indeed. Black Books is an absolutely fantastic programme. I love the episode about "the little book of calm"...

I've heard that too, according to a friend they saw him after a show, drunk & smoking a cigarette, went up to him but he pretty much just grunted & walked off in true Bernard Black style.

I'm not sure if it's an entirely accurate story but perhaps it is!
