Possible but I don't think I was over-watering it. Having said that though, the pot it came in didn't have holes in the bottom so that might have caused it.

The reason I think it was the sunlight was because I had it in an indoor bathroom & it was doing fine, then when I moved it onto a sunny windowsill it suddenly went brown.

I read something that side you should gradually acclimatize them to sunlight rather than suddenly overloading them with it if they have been used to being in the shade...
