I've accepted the inevitable and will work out details to start tapering my Seroquel dose with my pdoc on Monday. I even have a date to propose starting the taper. It looks like this is going to happen.
Anyway, I've done a lot of reading on the internet and one side effect concerns me. I've read a number of accounts of bedwetting. Is this people who had an extreme event and therefore aren't representing most people or do I need to add extra waterproofing to my bed? I'm perfectly willing to wear pull-up Depends if I have to as well but protecting my mattress is really important to me and I can't stand the thought of peeing on it and having something leak. Plus I worry that if I sleep with Depends for a month on a constant dose and decide I'm clear that I could have a bad surprise after that.
I know I need waterproof pillow covers for drooling. And I know that when you have a bedwetter you should double the waterproof cover. So do I really need to do that?
I'm fixating on this side effect to avoid thinking about the Seroquel taper.
