Hi!
I'm losing my first to college and being a single parent makes that infinately hard. I want to be supportive, excited and motivational so he starts on the right foot but instead I keep swaying to the miserable, lonely, weepy and depressed. My son is a smart kid and I think he'll do great at university, he's excited but also scared - pretty normal. We have kind of been our own support team, when he's down I support him and vice versa. But the thought of not having him close enough to hug is just about killing me. Any advice on how to stem the water works?
