Possible trigger:

My husband's brother is depressed (we didn't know) and had guns. He pulled a gun and pointed at the cops who were there to help him last night. They shot him 3 times. He was NOT fatally wounded and he will be OK. He was living with my 87 yr old mother-in-law, who is beside herself with worry right now.

There's isn't anything we can do right now. I think I'm just angry that he put other people in danger. I know I haven't processed this whole incident yet and more information will come out over the next few days.

I am so sorry NP!! Suicide by cop unfortunately seems common-- you would think cops would have some kind of plan or technique for this kind of thing (Although I can understand the need for everyone to be safe, just wish cops were better with the mentally ill)
