...it seems that some things will always stay the same. I just found out that one of my flatmates is going out tonight with some mutual friends, and nobody asked if I wanted to come. Admittedly, I probably would have declined if they had asked - they're going to watch the rugby, and I'm not interested in sports - but I don't see how they could have known that.

This makes me feel like I'm 13 all over again - should have known better when people told me university was better than high school.

Maybe it's my fault, though - I've been pretty antisocial this week, the only night I've been out is Friday and that wasn't with them. But it's hard to make plans with them, because they're not in my block or in any of my classes (I think my flatmate has some of the same classes as a few of them), so the only way I can keep in touch is through mobile phones, and they rarely return my texts. Whether that's because they don't have much credit on their phones or it's just me they're ignoring, I'm not sure...I hope it's the former, but knowing me it's probably the latter.

Well, maybe I don't need them anyway. I've made friends on my course, although they stay at home so they never go out in the evenings - I don't really see them outside of class, although we've got lunch together a few times.

I do miss them, though.
