Hi, I been posting there a little bit. I always make sure that the images show up by previewing my post, as I understand it, if the image owners of the site decided to not allow the links to be made to image files, I'd be seeing a little rectangular icon that leads to the original image on the interweb.
I have never seen that kinda message from Google, "Attackers on ....". I'm just wondering if that's coming from Chrome browser, logically, it sounds like it to me, nvm, I'll look that up later.
Could this problem have caught from the poster's standing point?
Edit: I'll be answering my own question here. So the warning is called 'Deceptive Site Ahead' feature on newer Chrome browser, it checks the site for rogue activity, things that are mentioned in the OP included. My browser doesn't check that, yours may not too. What I'm not sure is if a single file could get flagged by this system, I try to choose the image links that has safer looking names, like 'https...bla bla bla-cache-whatever.com'. The bottom line? They, the rogue webmasters use social engineering, I'm guessing you'll be getting a pop ups for installing anything? You're the gatekeeper, the defender of your system, that is it. I'm on DEFCON 5, the lowest.
I can't stop thinking... Does every user have to get that kinda warning? Internet is a public telecommunication, so google can't just block you, this is not China! Let's just enjoy the freedom of information for another day.
