I just want to know, and I know it's probably really difficult to describe something like a hug.

but me not knowing.. i'm sort of embarrassed by it
hugs feel different for different people. example sometimes for me it feels bad and other times it feels good, sometimes it feels cold and prickly and other times it feels warm and soft.. the same with when someone makes a person feel wanted, sometimes it feels good and sometimes it feels bad.

suggestion maybe you can experiment with this by asking those around you to give you a hug and then pay attention to how it made you feel when they did give you a hug.

when someone asks you to do something with them you can pay attention to how the fact that they wanted you in their life or event has made you feel.
