...that happens, with any benzodiazepine over the long haul ("inter-dose anxiety"), plus Klonopin will dampen your mood like no other sedative.
1mgs PRN isn't a whole lot. Just sayin' be cautious, if you can. Antidepressants are weird...they often cause mood instability in people who are susceptible, but some doctors will use high dose SSRI drugs for "mood lability." I don't know what that's about. My own limited experience is that high dose SSRIs will flatten anybody out, so I guess that's what's going on.
Have you ever tried a daily anti-epileptic as a mood stabilizer? I think lamictal is popular for people who have had multiple episodes of depression. I take a lowish dose (100mgs) with another anti-epileptic, trileptal. Anti-epileptics can also help anxiety and agitation, at least over the long haul.
Hope you and your prescriber can fine tune things appropriately.

Not yet. But she said the 2 I am on. Increased the risk of seizures. Knock on wood haven't had any. I really hope pristiq works. It's really frustrating going from med to med and dosage to dosage even.
As per the klonopin I've been working hard to avoid it. Last time I think I took it was last Monday. For a while I was taking it everyday (July or August maybe). I've tried breathing and meditation technique and only take it if it's too severe or I feel panic attack coming on.
