Hope you are okay CANDC, I think a lot of one type of exercise can stress the body, even yoga.
When I started running constantly I would hear 'cross-train' but I never did, it's only recently I have mixed in other activities, hoping the variety will make me more resilient against injury.
Thought I would have rest day today but tonight I got the urge to put on my running shoes and go out, went for a gentle 5k in the rain and it felt good - no knee trouble.
