Yes I am feeling better every day. I am finding Tai chi and walking give me different kinds of work outs. Yoga taught by women often emphasizes hips, not one of my more flexible places. So the others help me.

Yes diversity is better. Also I am listening to the needs of my body and that really seems to help. Also seasonal factors, with the cold more contracted muscles so not pushing.
