Hello--I'm new here but am looking forward to participating here. I was diagnosed with mood disorder 15 years ago and have been on many different cocktails.
Recently off Abilify as I fell into depression (I was on 30, then dropped down to 10 due to weight gain...then went manic, then fell into depression). Added Trileptal on 8/1 (150mg 2x/day) to my Lamictal (300mg), and am having issues with my tongue rolling around in my mouth and my jaw moving around a lot, unable to settle in one place. At one point in my life I was on cocaine (many years ago), and these tongue/jaw issues remind me of being high on coke. It might also be helpful to add I'm on 30mg Adderall 2x/day for AD/HD. It's so bad right now I think I'll take an Ativan (.5mg).
Other meds: Wellbutrin (200mg).
Emotionally, I am unable to focus on anything, and severely lack motivation to do anything, especially at work. Adderall helps somewhat.
Will this side effect of Trileptal go away? Is it an interaction with something else? Any thoughts welcome. This is really terrible to deal with.
Thank you,
FifteenYears
