I also always took less than what I was prescribed because of my "fear" about it. But honestly, when I took the full amount as prescribed, I was so much better. Klonopin makes my mind feel "clear", helps me with my random, racing thoughts, calms me at night so I can actually sleep (if I don't fight sleep). Other meds lose effectiveness over time, or I stop them, then start them again and they make me terrible. Klonopin has been the only drug that has consistently helped my anxiety and some of my manic symptoms, when I take it.
