I can relate

For me, people in my childhood and early adulthood kept repeating that message, in a callous way, offering no positive suggestions or care
I also feel that I’m unlikely to be happy

. Although I have been happy.. well bad things have happened (etc). I wish I had some positive suggestions. I hope this post isn’t completely “useless”.
I’m sending my best hopes for you, I think this can be overcome (good therapy is one thing that can help, even though it can take a long time)
