Fuzzy, I worked ER for many years, and at the last one I worked for there was this one girl who would plague my world. She didn't have the education I had, or the empathy, but she seemed to always be a thorn in my side. So what I did was (kill her with kindness), in your case honey! I always gave her a card for holidays that required it, a small gift for X-mas, and Easter, a flag for the 4th of July, ect... It would drive her nuts, bc she thought she couldn't get to me, even though she was. I never let her know she bothered me at all. She would say something, like almost barking a order that a Doc. would want done, and I would just say something like, (sure, I will be happy to take care of that) and I could see it irritated her, and I would walk off with a smile, even though I didn't feel like smiling. Also they do call it practicing medicine.
