When this happens to me, if I'm "in a good place," then I talk about gardening, books, writing, etc. Stuff I like to do.
If I'm anxious or depressed and don't know what to talk about, I tell that to my T and she usually says I should just say anything that comes up for me. After that, if I still don't have anything to say, I just sit there and sigh a lot.
