Ah... okay... over 50. Over 50 is when the wheels began to come off of my carriage... so to speak. In my case I had managed to keep my head above water, as the saying goes, until around the age of 50 when a not all that serious bout with cancer became the straw that broke the camel's back. So while my issues have been different from yours, I'm certainly acquainted with the kinds of struggles that can develop around middle age.
