I was doing hypnotherapy but changed therapists. I'm not sure if we moved from guided imagery to actual hypnotherapy but I what we were doing was very relaxing and I was always aware. During it, it felt very relaxed and interacting with the psychologist normally. Afterwards I felt sooo good, peaceful, very light and it stayed with me longer and longer. It really felt so good. I think if you're interested, give it a try. Remember you are completely in control.
As for Vicodin.. in spite of a history of drug use, I dislike Vicodin so much that I tell the doctors I have adverse reactions to it so they won't prescribe it. It makes me feel like I can't get a deep breath and it gives me horrendous nightmares.
