I have gotten so much reading done by wearing them.
There are better brands out there but I got the Snug brand for $17. They are made especially for people with autism instead of like the hunting noise cancelling ones.

Mountaindewed thank you! Theres some at Target, I saw. They're expensive, like 200 and up. I know SONY was one of the brands. I'm still looking into it but I think its a good idea for me bc of apartment living. I did try on a pair before, two separate times. The first time it was a whole new world, the second time, same pair, I heard noise outside but I was also looking for it. I'll look into snug too.
I did at one point get the ear device Calm by Flare. For ppl with hearing sensitivities. But they were kind of loose in my ears. And made them itch. Money wasted. Though I have the option of returning them, I'm not up to the process through the mail.
