I have a very big fear of needles. Yet whenever I go somewhere that wants to do a blood draw and I refuse I am looked down on and lectured. If I were clostraphobic and couldn't do a MRI people would understand. At the er now because of the pain I'm in. I'm sure they think I'm drug seeking because I won't let them take my blood. I've already been told they won't prescribe me any pain meds if they can't take my blood. I don't want pain meds. I want my problem to be cured.
I know they can see a lot in blood work but I also know there are other things they can do without having to use needles.
