Hi @poshgirl - sorry to hear the sad news about your cousin. They must be in a very dark place.
It is tough to say what to tell your mother. Some people are locked into family politics and lose sight of the bigger picture. I think if someone is not talking about this situation, it is best to talk with people that are concerned and want to discuss it.
