Well, with her I never stopped trying.
Confronting this loss is very hard. I really long for unique interactions I had with her, inside jokes, whatever.

Yes, you do lose even if you never stop trying because that "never stop trying" is the DENIAL of reality.....that is dysfunctional behavior.
