I hope you are feeling better soon. You made me think of something. When I was young, I hated to get sick. Throwing up was a nightmare for me. I used to fight the sensation with all my will power. (Usually in a lost cause).
What's the last thing that happens before you up-chuck? Your mouth starts watering. Once you swallow that saliva and lubricate the runway, it's on the way. If you have any intention of not throwing up, don't swallow that saliva!
One of the interesting side effects of SSRI therapy was that it made throwing up easy for me. There are times when I have eaten something that doesn't agree with me, and it might be a long arduous drawn out process getting it through
my upset stomach, but If I have been taking my SSRIs, i can take a short cut by inducing vomiting and it's no big deal. Anyone else notice this?
