@forestx5 no there isn't and my original post reported hunger pangs after drinking a protein shake. While your post is valuable in itself, starting a separate thread to share your experiences and thoughts would have been more appropriate than using my thread. This was especially so given that I had already essentially closed the thread by reporting that the culprit of hunger pangs had been found - Seroquel, and Square Peg Guy had already responded to that post. This thread is not about eating simple carbohydrates and having crashes afterwards but about a very painful experience of having hunger pangs despite a nearly perfect diet replete with high quality protein, a variety of probiotics and fermented foods, etc., and with meals predominantly cooked at home from scratch.

I do not know if you have ever attended mental health support groups and quite possibly you have not. One of the most valuable skills such groups teach has to do with giving advice. One has to be very careful with giving advice. In your case, and again I acknowledge that you must have meant well, your statement essentially trivialized and almost ridiculed the problem that for several years was the bane of my existence.
