Well, in one respect, it's good to remember lessons from these tragedies. Hurricanes Hugo and Andrew also.

Chalm, you and I know that the death toll they give is not correct.

How can it be with all that destruction and thousands staying? It's always the same, but once you know the truth, they can never lie to you again and have you believe them. (Like less than 100 died from Andrew, when the first morgue they opened had 1801 people. ) Then the constant stream of 18 wheelers, refrigerator trucks, carrying first only 100 at a time, and then, because of the overwhelming numbers, began carrying 300 at a time. No reason that any normal person can imagine for them to lie. Upwards of 5000 died in Andrew. I was there. I survived. They lied.
