keb i am so sorry you are in so much pain that its stopping you doing your everyday chores,have you tried having just doing jobs a bit at a time not all in one go, for jobs such as stading by the sink try using a stall to lean or sit on,
i agree with you on the holidays not so much fun when little ones are not around i only have teenagers at home now, its defiantly less fun so i try to mix with friends children as often as possible as they make me feel younger
