I do not eat or drink anything after 6pm

I listen to easy music before bed. But i still cant drop off to sleep.

I am not stressed out or anything. I did go to my doctors and she gave me insomnia info and that was useless. I haven't been back since as that trip was a waste of time. I keep a sleep record and have done since the start of the year and i sleep roughly between 3-13 hours a night.

My aunt suggested a sleeping pill which is over the counter called forgive my spelling someinex? But i can not find it anywhere.

I also work Night Shifts at least once a month and at least 2 sleep over's a week which depending on the guy i look after i could get anythign from 2-6 hours sleep at night but this is normally broken sleep as he gets up as he has behaviour problems

Any advice would be great as its now nearly 1140pm and i am not tired one little bit
I do some shift work, too, also with one overnight a week with clients with behavioral probs. I find that regardless of when I got to sleep I have to try to get up close to the same time every day. It may mean taking a nap later or staying up sleepy all day but it helps tell my body when to go to sleep. I also use a light therapy lamp that helps my body know when it's morning, even when I feel like sleeping first thing. I'm also useless if I don't have a snack before bed. My doc says it's fine as long as it's not high in sugar or fat and my T says whatever works (within reason) is great.

Don't know if that helps...
