was at a pride weekend fest. A friend handed me a pipe which i assumed just had weed...wrong! I took the hit and ended up smoking about a hundred dollars worth! I tried coke about 30 years ago and didn't like the way i felt afterward so i did not do it again. I am very depressed today. I am on 900 mg of lithium, 225 of effexor, and 1 mg klonopin. The crack made me feel seriously depressed just like the powder did 30 years ago, so i won't be doing that again. Does anyone know how long this depression will last? It has been 24 hours since i touched the stuff. i would be greatful for anyone's feedback.

This is of little help, but I wanted you to know someone was trying... all I can see is that depending on strength, type, size of person etc it's side effects vary in length of time. But most places said they are short lived, as in mins/hours rather than days. So to be honest I'm not sure. This should give you hope though that it might not be too long. On the otherhand another thought I had- could the drug just have triggered something that was lurking in you? and other stuff happened whilst you were there that could have impacted on it?

no triggers. Did a little research and found that the high only lasts a few minutes. It dumps all the dopamine into your brain at once. It can take days to replenish it. The withdrawl for me is so bad, i will never touch that stuff again!

slowly but surely. I am eating like there is no tomorrow. Motivation and interest are returning. Crack is a few seconds of bliss followed by days of hell...not worth it. Thank you for asking after me!

I'm glad you recognize that it's not worth it. You are too valuable to crawl up in a crack pipe and go up in smoke.

Yeah, that's super bad stuff. Good thing your body doesn't do well with it. You should be back to normal probably by the end of the week.
