Hi there, I don't post very often, however, I read frequently. I find reading about others experiences, helps me to understand mine. I have only been recently diagnosed with BPD.

Friday night, I had to make the terrible decision to euthanize my best friend and companion. I know it sounds cheezy to anyone who doesn't like cats, but George was with me my whole adult life (he was 13), through all my crazy, wonderful, and horrible times of my life. He was the constant "man" in my life. He always came to cuddle when I cried (trust me, the past 2 years have had a great deal of tears).

I am trying so hard to quit smoking pot, I have surgery on the 14th, and meet with a dr. on the 1st to talk about getting into a group therapy. Obviously I have to have quit for both. However, I smoked for a very long time and it has become my coping skill, I don't know how to deal with this loss without it. This is my last day of smoking pot, and we'll see how the next half of my life (pot free) turns out.

I hope this doesn't sound like the crazy pot smoking cat lady, but I suppose broken down into basics, that's what I am.
