I was addicted to pain killers for many years.., it start with a simple Valium,
until the top of the pills.. I decide to hide this problem and confront it by saying. I am an addicted ...so what?. Laughing at others when they try to let me know I was wrong ; my answer to them I am an addict so what ..I try but with no result... I join a group AJF that help me in tremendous way a lot...I've been clean for 5 weeks already. genn

Glad to hear it.. The longer you are off the easier it becomes..I was addicted to pain killers for eight years.. Then one day I decided to quit.. I have been off them for five years..

W00t! Congrats Genn. I used to be addicted to painkillers as well. I've been sober for over a year, so believe me when I say it really does get better eventually
