I feel so good about it too! It's not my first 30 day mark, but i'm hoping its my last. I just switched sponsors, which was a difficult thing to do. But ulitmately if i wanted any chance at staying sober, it was necessary. Due to my continuous relapses our relationship had become strained. We argued all the time, and neither of us was happy. I love her and am grateful for her, always will be, but it was time to move on. So my new sponsor is still a hard ***** and that's what i need, but there are some differences which i think will help me feel better about coming around in general so i'm on a pretty nice pink cloud right now.

congrats !!!!!!!! a milestone in your recovery! you seem to have the willingness to get sober. that's most important for you to succeeed. often we may realize we need to change sponsors for the help we need. thanks for the update. HAVE A WONDERFUL SOBER DAY, GEE. and pink clouds are great. enjoy it while you can. even greater things await you..."the promises" do come true if we stay sober.

YAY!!

Congratulations, on so many things - you did something good for yourself, and decided to move on with another sponsor because you know what's good for you! That is AWESOME!

Congrats on 30 days

GOOD FOR YOU!!! Congrats on 30 days! That's wonderful. And I agree about a hard sponsor. I didn't need someone who patted me on the head and said "there, there," I needed someone who would kick me in the butt, and give me orders!! I needed someone who would not listen to my stupid excuses! And boy did i find one! LOL She would NOT put up with anything. Plus my home group kind of took me under their wing, and put me to WORK -- I did so much service work in the first 6 months, that i didn't have TIME to even think about drinking.

Thank God for them cause in a few months, God willing, I'll have 18 years clean/sober. I owe that to people like you, AA and my Higher power!!

So keep on keepin on!! It works if you work it!! God bless. Hugs, Lee
