I spent today at my area's intergroup's annual roundup. It was amazing, all the speakers were fantastic. I'm sure some of you will recognize the name if the keynote speaker Clancy I from California. This is my second time hearing him speak, and I think he's amazing. He definitely gives me hope which I'm a little short on right now.
I went with 2 women from my homegroup and we had a great day. --splitimage |

wow, isn't Clancy GREAT?? He's really something!! And those roundups are something too.
What I like are the yearly Conventions that they have in different states each year. Since I live in Michigan, I went to one in Kentucky a few years ago, and WOW ~ when you get about 5,000 recovering alcoholics in ONE ROOM -- it's just overwhelming!!! If it doesn't solidify your desire to stay sober, nothing will ! ![]() Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Lee |
