I finally got around this week to starting to rework the steps with my sponsor, something she suggested at the start of the summer. The interesting thing is I'm using the narcotics annonymous workbook, which is way more detailed and has lots more questions than any material I've seem put out by AA.
I'm finding it hard to be introspective, but I'm also finding that I'm having a new understanding of just how damaging alcohol has been in my life and how my addictive thinking and behaviour, even though I'm now sober, continue to interfere in my life. splitimage |

splitimage, its good that you are redoing the steps. You said "even though I'm now sober, [it] continue to interfere in my life." I find that to be true. I've been sober for 5 years and 9 months and I still have to work at it. But it does get easier as time goes on...
