I do, about thirty a day. I find it helps relax me.

I don't. Don't even want to try. I have a really addictive personality so I don't even want to go there.
Thanks for this!

I used to smoke. I quit couple times with an aid of a drug that immitated nicotine, such that when you loaded up with it, attemting to smoke would just make those cigs taste awful. However after the drug was weaned off, I would resume smoking, once even on purpose, alarmed by my weight gain.

I felt like "I should quit", rather that "I want to not smoke" and made me crave smoking even more.

i stopped smoking & coffee for nearly 10 months and started again about 3 weeks ago.

i could kick myself in the @$$

although, this last week i finally realised that i've slipped back into a rather deep depressive state and that starting again was in some way an attempt at self-medicating.

i sought medical advice on tuesday & i went onto an SSRI yesterday, so i'm feeling a little like i'm underwater at the moment, but as soon as i feel a little more stable again, i intend to stop again ASAP

Smoke a pack of cigs and rub a can of snuff a night. That's the same as about 4 packs a night

I sort of do.
Was a smoker that did 10 cigs or so a day.
Got down to 3 or so.
Then had stopped cigarettes and had 2 small cherry cigars a day.
I've been away from home for a few days and been very stressed, so I've had about 3 cigs a day again.
I think I'm angry about it.

Yes. About a pack and a half a day. I'd love to quit, but I do like sitting out on my front porch with my coffee and cigarette in the morning.

I smoke. I am more conscientious about where and when I do it in public than years ago.
