Just read a phenomenal story about one man's triumph over addiction and a mood disorder; it also points to a new direction in therapy, peer services; it is the last of 5 separate stories in a series entitled "Lives Restored", portraits of individuals who have dealt with mental illnesses and found a way to live with them:

That was a really inspiring story. Peer support is way behind the US in Canada, it's really just starting here. One of my cousins is a peer support worker with a mental health and addictions Dx.
