THey say that once you quit alcohol, it takes a year of sobriety before you can function again...
Unfortunately, I don't have a year, I have a LOT of music to make this summer, etc.... I can't loosen up anymore. |

I'm confused about what you mean by the notion that you don't have a year. Can you clarify?

try not to worry brontoset. it takes time for our bodies and minds to recover. all your talents are included in that. "easy does it" we didn't become alcoholics overnight and we won't recover overnight. but we can and will recover as long as we don't drink.

Maybe you could write about the pain of not having a year! Or the joy of the time you do have!

I can't afford to be useless for a year.

You don't have to be useless and we're all different -- not all people are powerless. I know some people who tackle very demanding jobs during the first year. Can you be more specific?

Maybe you just need to find some other way to loosen up? Lay out and watch the stars hell I don't know!
