Suddenly I’m someone I don’t know
When you walk back into my life Your company is hesitantly welcomed Knowing I’ll pay the price. For now you’re just a want Soon you’ll become a need It won’t take long before I lose control It’s you who will take the lead. It’s a downward spiral With you by my side I’ve tried to run But there’s nowhere to hide. As your grip becomes tighter The want becomes more Many times I’ve been here before. You have a hold on me I can’t break free It feels like this is the way It’s supposed to be. I’ve been given a chance too many Time is running out If only I was like others That could live without.
